Dude, your global warming denier posts are totally exhausting. The article you reference is not some unbiased journalist, but a guy who has made his life's work writing anti-global warming articles and books. It is opinion, not journalism.
The conference the article mentions is an anti-global warming conference, though the article tries to portray it as some sort of neutral body of scientists. The purpose of the conference was specifically to bring together the handful of scientist that deny global warming. About 100 out of a scientific community of 12 thousand. (the other "400 hundred" in attendance were businessmen and economists and such.)
The leader of the scientists issuing the "Manhattan statement" is the infamous Dr. Singer. He used to be a paid shill for the tobacco industry (yay second-hand smoke!), before he found himself on the Exxon dole.
Total crap, man. I wish you would spend half the amount of time looking at the other side of the issue as you do fawning over the lame attempts at legitimacy from your side.
