Dirty Democrat Tactics...

The Dallas Morning News gets hold of Clinton caucus "training materials," in which supporters are instructed to fight for procedural control of caucuses.

The materials say in part, "DO NOT allow the supporter of another candidate to serve in leadership roles."

It goes on to say, "If our supporters are outnumbered, ask the Temporary Chair if one of our supporters can serve as the Secretary, in the interest of fairness.

"The control of the sign-in sheets and the announcement of the delegates allotted to each candidate are the critical functions of the Chair and Secretary. This is why it is so important that Hillary supporters hold these positions."

Typical. Can you imagine the outcry of "disenfranchisement" if a Republican put out memos like this?

There are plenty out there who think such practices are reprehensible. Like me.

I speak for the Obama campaign* when I say: when you have similar evidence of Obama campaign materials you can call them "Democratic" tactics. Until then, you can call them Clinton campaign tactics.

*As a precinct captain I have received a lot of campaign materials about procedure at the caucuses, and nothing like this has crossed my desk.

After I posted the comment above I got a memo about tomorrow from the Obama campaign. Here is how it closed:

"Thank you again for your passion and dedication. Give it everything you've got tomorrow, and keep in mind the three words that have guided us every step of the way so far:

RESPECT, EMPOWER, and INCLUDE.

Together we can change America.
