why do you keep posting the same picture with no new information? I'll say it again. That woman, I believe her name is Maria Isabel, is NOT in an official Barack Obama office. She is running some sort of crappy little guerilla volunteer campaign out of some random office, with no support from the Obama campaign.
Jenny and I went to the official Barack Obama Houston headquarters today, which hasn't even "officially" opened. The official opening party is this Monday at 12:30.
Today there were two training sessions for precinct captains; Jenny and I went to the 10am session with the kids. There were NO Che Guevara posters. That idiot Maria "Communista" Isabel in the Fox pictures was also not there.
I'll tell you what was there. About 250 people showed up for the meeting, black, white, hispanic, middle-eastern. The excitement was awesome. You just couldn't even imagine Clinton supporters showing up in those numbers, or with that kind of enthusiasm. There were at least 40 full time staff members, all twenty-somethings organizers who have been battle-tested in earlier states, who are working full time for the campaign. Many of them are doing it as volunteers. You can see why Barack is crushing her when it comes to organizing. All that free, motivated energy and and fervor!
John McCain better get the GOP troops on board or he is getting crushed.
So let me try to put that stupid flag issue to rest one more time. I can say this because I was there at the headquarters today. The campaign made it very clear to everyone that the woman with the flag, and her activities, are not representative, nor in any way part of the campaign. People asked about her "events" and the campaign repeated that they were not a part of the official campaign.
When those pictures were taken the national staff had not even arrived in Houston. Fox = not serious journalism.
