The Old Gray Lady......a shell of what it used to be......

"On Monday, September 10, 2007, the Times ran a full-page advertisement for MoveOn.org questioning the integrity of General David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, entitled “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?” The Times only charged MoveOn.org, a liberal activist group, $65,000 for the advertisement that, according to public relations director Abbe Serphos, normally costs around $181,692, or roughly a 64% discount. Serphos declined to explain the discount."

The New York Times is a joke. Ciruclation is way down to boot. I hope it is out of business within 10 years. Most news is free now thanks to the internet.

Circulation is actually up this year. One of the few newspapers in the country that has gained subscribers.

I admit that the moveon.org ad price was wrong, but at least they charged something. Fox News parrots the GOP talking points every day for FREE.

Like the Dem party doesn't get the same on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC etc etc....

PS...I hate fox news. I hold them partly responisble for hurting Ron Paul's campaign by constantly painting him as a looney.
