Simon had just finished tossing spoiled oranges at the passing motorcade..... this cozy snapshot captured the raw exuberance of the moment.... oh, to be young, gay, and a skater in bustling South Carolina ('The Jewel of the South') during the heyday of 'Thurmond Country'.....
