McCains Past Sins

Oddly enough, just yesterday am as we walked to campus ( for our Italian class) talking about politics as usual ( gotta get a life soon), I gave Mom two predictions regarding McCains past sins that would come back to bite him.
1- McCain / Feingold.... I said the dems would raise a ton of money using his bill against him...esp th 527 Soros tactics. and
2- The liberal press, that he has sucked up to all these years and who has adored him when he was attacking Bush and voting liberal, would turn on him to promote Obama. I said the press has figured out that their beloved Hillary is toast and is lining up with Obama. This is very evident by the soft touch they are giving Obama ala from Bill Clinton 1992-1997. I predicted that they would quickly forget his "darling" status with them.
Wow--- the New York Times came through for me as expected... and so fast. . I have to admit I thought they would hold off until this summer closer to the dem convention. It has started already. Sadly the Times, consistant with its low journalistic standards can't even do a credible hatchet job on him....but they didn't get scooped on this false, non-story and we know that is what counts with the press.
Mark and Jenny have heard me rail against the sad state of american journalism ( liberal bias)for years. Jenny as a lover of the Times is polite and says nothing but probably thinks that I am just a schill for the great right wing conspiracy. Mark avoids the issue as well but probably has some secret suspicion that I am right, but for peace in the family says nothing.
The Times is the house organ of the DNC and as such has less credibility every year. That once great paper is joke. It has gone well past bias into a smear campaign, yellow journalism at its worst.....but it tells libs what they want to hear so they keep subscribing. McCain will rue the day he began his love affair with the eastern lib media.
Hell, even MSNBC which is as left as you can get, is balking at their story. They are talking about it a lot this am as you would expect but not (so far) in support of the Times story, timiing and tactics.
Ciao...andiamo al' unversita di CSU per la classa di Italiano.
