Gosh how long ago was it that the dems and their allies in the main stream press claimed that:
1- Hillary was the smartest woman on earth
2- Bill was the greatest politician since FDR
Hey- this was dem dogma for the past 15 years!!! And it had to be true because the NY Times said so!
I think that was from 1992 until about 6 months ago when they decided that the Clintons were being kinda mean to Obama, who is such a nice black guy..... and how could democrats treat a minority that way. Now with Bills recent nasty rants and Hillarys implosion at the polls and back door dealing to steal the election with help of the super delegates, these same dems are wondering if the Clintons are really such wonderful people. These are the same two power mad, sociopathic, arrogant, political thugs you guys loved in the 90's. The press loved them too! But now that the guy you love, Obama is on the receiving end the story line has got to be changed! Hell the Clintons are now charging that their is a great left wing conspiracy with the press in bed with Obama. God, you gotta love it when the worm turns and has teeth like a More eel!
I wonder how many dems ( Jenny are you tuned in) are asking themselves if they were really right about supporting the Clintons in the 90's. I mean do people really change that much..... many dems now see that he is a total ass h.... so how could he have been such a great guy in 92, let alone in 97 when he was abusing a young ( albeit stupid) intern?

A whole lot of them are. My period as a political Independent started just when the Monica scandal broke, and lasted roughly until the start of the Iraq war. A lot of Democratic die hards hung on much longer, just like the Rs are doing with Bush now. By this I mean that although he seems to be a much better family man than Clinton, to say the least, IMHO the real-world consequences of his failings are much worse than Bill's.
I was aghast in '92 (my very first election) when Bill Clinton beat George H. Walker Bush. Basically at that moment I knew that it was entirely possible that America could vote for any jack-ass. I was mortified, I kid you not. I was only 18 at the time. Couldn't the rest of America see what a transparent phony he was????
I have relatives on my wife's side who still think the Clinton's walk on water. Hell, my wife shamefully voted for the guy....TWICE!!! She rues the day.
The Clinton's might tear the Democratic party apart in a power-mad frenzy to win. They will worry about November later. For now they just need to beat Obama. Things are going to get ugly.
It is kind of funny for people to now scratch their heads in disbelief about their actions. "How could this be?" they ask themselves. "Bill Clinton was such a selfless public servant."
