Just Words. Just not Obama's.



Deval Patrick.....a name we will all probably hear more about over the next few days.

Shades of Joe Biden and Neil Kinnock????

This freaked me out when I first saw it but I have read Deval Patrick's statement on the issue and I am okay with it:

“Senator Obama and I are long-time friends and allies. We often share ideas about politics, policy and language,” Patrick said in the statement. “The argument in question, on the value of words in the public square, is one about which he and I have spoken frequently before. Given the recent attacks from Senator Clinton, I applaud him responding in just the way he did.”

Still I think he should do like I do (yea, me!). I have several quotes from friends that I have woven into my repertoire and I include the attribution. Ex: "Like my friend Jenny Margarita (name changed) from Alabama says, "Saints preserve us!" I do indeed love saying that.
