Almost a mil.
Even if Walker and Davegator resign Obama to the deepest darkest pits of left-wing hell, I hope they will look in to their hearts and give him credit for this:
He has made people care about politics again. The number of people, especially young people, who have had a little lightbulb go off in their head, and who have come out and donated, campaigned, voted, watched debates...it's amazing.
ONCE AGAIN: POSTED BY MARK, not that I am in disagreement, but I wouldn't have said it just like this.

Once again, oh Jenny, Jenny Jenny:
Republicans of a certain mindset will despise Obama for this very thing. The whole Rove-ian ideal is to have the great unwashed masses not believe in a positive role for government. And to only be involved in getting rid of it.
Which, as I have posited to you before, may have been a perverse logic for governing so badly -- so people would REALLY have something NOT to care about. Not that I would credit them for being so clever.
I will give Obama full marks for possibly overcoming in the minds of a whole new set of citizens the biggest psychic roadblock created by the Bush-era.
Accordingly, if an Obama Administration doesn't deliver, well...there could just as easily be widespread disillusionment that would be even harder to overcome in the future. There is a risk in too much hype.

Ron Paul raised way more than that from young people...
It's not one million dollars, it's one million donors. Big difference.
