Alright, assuming that it's an Obama vs. McCain election, let me break it down.....
I think the '08 election will come down to a few fundamentals.
Let's discuss who has advantages for each of them...
1) Ability to Win Red/Blue States from the Other Party - from the election of '00 to '04 relatively few states changed from RED to BLUE or vice-versa. I think New Mexico (from BLUE to RED) did and maybe New Hampshire too. Very little movement. Which candidate has the ability to "flip" states their way???
2) How about appeal to voters within these key demographics?
- Youth voters (i.e. Idiots) (18-30)
- Young Adults (i.e. The Backbone of America) (31-45)
- Boomers (i.e. Those Who Listen to Crosby, Stills, and Nash Records) (46-65)
- The Elderly (i.e., Fossils) (66 - 100)
- Whites
- Blacks
- Hispanics
- Asians
- Jews
- Catholics
- Evangelicals
- Non-Churched
I, for one, think the whole shebang will come down to one sliver of America - lower, middle-class working whites. Wherever they go, so goes the Presidency.

This is going to take some work. So much harder than offering extensive windbag opinions......
